A PLACE OF
FAMILY, LOVE AND GROWTH.
Helping Hands Day Program is an Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) program that serves adults that have intellectual and developmental disabilities with low-support needs.
Our Mission:
To provide person-centered opportunities that bring purpose, dignity, and belonging to individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About Us
- We have two locations open year-round, one in Boerne and the primary in San Antonio.
- Throughout our week we do community service tasks, classroom and/or computer lab activities, eat at restaurants, go on day outings including bowling, and watch movies.
- Part of our daily schedule includes physical activities including walking, light group exercise, basketball, and games.
- All our opportunities are designed to help those in our care to grow socially, spiritually, and enhance their overall well-being.
